Adapting Massage & Reflexology for Palliative Care

This day course will help increase your confidence when working with clients with cancer by looking at contra-indications and offering guidelines on how to adapt your treatment session to provide a gentle, safe and appropriate massage at all stages of illness.  There is a practical element to the day so wear loose comfortable clothing and please bring a base oil or cream and two small towels.  The tutor Mary, a practicing complementary therapist in a hospice, will use her own experiences of working with people with cancer to encourage informal discussions and learning  This course is open to either Massage Therapists or Reflexologists, you will learn techniques for both on the day which can be incorporated into your routine.
