A one-day workshop for massage therapists, exercise and health professionals, treating Kyphotic Posture, the aims of this course are To enable you to identify problems resulting from fixed, seated posturesTo enable you to alleviate some of these problems using a variety of techniquesTo provide you with information so that you may analyze other fixed posturesObjectives:
Describe the seated posture in anatomical terms , Identify which muscles are shortened and which are lengthened, Identify problems that may result from the seated fixed posture, List the treatment techniques available for dealing with these problems, Use the appropriate treatment techniques to help correct muscle imbalance , Identify other occupations in which fixed postures are inherent, Know the steps for analysing other fixed postures
