The ITEC A&P Diploma award is the foundation diploma upon which all other Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy Diploma awards are based. It is comprised of several units encompassing all systems of the body.

It is essential for therapists to understand the anatomy and physiology subject in detail, in order for them to be able to work in direct contact with the body structures. It is also vital to have full knowledge of the diseases and disorders of the human body so that therapists can be aware of when and when not to treat a client and operate within certain safe perimeters.

The units covered in this level 3 Anatomy & Physiology diploma are:

· Skeletal system · Muscular system · Skin · The Cell · Circulatory and Lymphatic systems · Neurological system · Endocrine system · Respiratory system * Digestive system · Urinary system · Reproductive system

You will gain a full understanding of the importance of the anatomical structures and their interrelated functions with each other you will then be able to further progress onto Holistic Massage, Reflexology or Indian Head Massage which you can either learn alongside this Anatomy & Physiology or separately at another time suitable to you.
